This video shows an example of a resource that can be applied to UDL principles 6.1 Guide appropriate goal setting and 6.2 Support planning and strategy development.
Have you ever used this in any of your classes? Or is this just an online resource that you found browsing the internet? I really like this resources, especially with the fact that I feel like the sports analogy would be very relevant to many students. However, this may also make it not relevant or relatable to some students within a student body as well. For example, students with special needs or accommodations or students that do not identify as athletes. Would this still reach those students with the sample impact as it would for the "athletes?"
Good review! How would you use this tool to support all learners? Is there assistance built in for the slow processor, those with executive function challenges and disabilities, or modifications for the gifted/fast-paced learner?
